What makes Fenrir Fitness different?
Founded in 2011 by Husband & Wife team Olly Goddard & Anitra Goddard. We set out with one purpose; to make people better by making Fenrir Fitness much more than just a gym. We are a small, welcoming fitness community of people from ALL (or no) athletic background(s) and ability levels. You will likely know every other member once you’ve been training with us for a while. Included in your sign-up is a one-on-one check-in consultation with a highly-trained coach to help set / discuss your goals. Our group classes are very small and capped at just 11 people for the benefits of the athletes. Every member has their own log book to track their progress. Typically, an instructor-led session consists of a warm up, mobility work, a skill and/or a strength component and a metabolic conditioning segment – followed by a cool down / stretching. The program we provide is very a personal and premium service. We are not here to just run you through a daily beatdown. We actually want you to get fitter, healthier and happier. Still not sure? Feel free to come along to observe a class, check out the facility and meet the coaches.
Begin With Personal Training
Most clients begin with personal training for a series of 12 sessions. This is where you will work with your trainer to build your general fitness base and gain familiarity with our movements. You will find the greatest success with personal training if your needs or goals include:
• weight loss and improved body composition
• extra accountability
• you have generally been sedentary
• you are new to exercise
• you are referred to us by a physician, physical therapist or chiropractor
• you have specific performance oriented goals (triathlon, basketball, etc.)
• you have significant health or orthopedic issues
Your trainer will tailor workouts specifically for your current fitness level and progress you at the proper pace for you. Following your initial 12 sessions you may then choose to continue with private training or progress into our Elements group class.
*Individuals with significant health or orthopedic issues will remain private training clients.
Begin in a Beginners Group Class
On Ramp class
Our On Ramp classes are cyclical and run every 2 weeks on Saturdays 12pm-3pm. It is designed for the generally active, injury free individual who wants ultimately to train in one of our ongoing group classes. In this class we will expose newbies to our movement curriculum in a group format. Movement techniques will be drilled as well as a progressive introduction to the intensity levels that are inherent in our group classes. If you are unsure as to whether you are a good candidate for beginning in a class setting, please contact us. Check when the next On Ramp class starts and to reserve your spot!
1-on-1 On Ramp
If you cannot attend the group On-Ramp sessions, you may schedule a 4-session One-on-One On-Ramp package with a trainer at an additional cost. Please contact us for more information.
